While breakfasting this morning, I made some raspberry preservers from our home-grown raspberries using a very simple recipe I found on the web.
Raspberry preserves | |
| Put the water and sugar in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. |
| Add the raspberries and simmer for 5 mintues. Pour into a sterilized jar. Refrigerate. |
Yield: About 1 cup preserves |
That's all there is to it. We'll see how it is.
Market
The market had boxes of apricots for preserves for €8. Too bad Ed doesn't like apricot preserves. :-(
