While breakfasting this morning, I made some raspberry preservers from our home-grown raspberries using a very simple recipe I found on the web.
Put the water and sugar in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
Add the raspberries and simmer for 5 mintues. Pour into a sterilized jar. Refrigerate.
|Yield: About 1 cup preserves|
That's all there is to it. We'll see how it is.
The market had boxes of apricots for preserves for €8. Too bad Ed doesn't like apricot preserves. :-(
